We’ve made it easier to bring your pupil data into the Boxall Profile® Online—now you can import directly from your school management system using a CTF file!
What is a CTF?
A CTF (Common Transfer File) is a standard file format used across UK schools to securely transfer essential student data, like:
- Personal details (name, date of birth, gender)
- School history (previous schools attended)
- Attendance records
- Assessment results (e.g., SATs)
- Special educational needs information (if applicable)
When a student moves schools, their CTF helps keep vital information intact, ensuring continuity in their learning journey.
Rest assured: Our system only extracts the specific data needed from the CTF file to streamline setup, with no access to any extra information.
How to Import Your Pupil Data:
- Export pupil data as a CTF from your school management system.
- Go to BPO > My EBPs > Import pupil data.
- Select the CTF option and upload your CTF file.
- Check for errors and click import to complete.
