This tool can be seen and used by any user of the platform that has an account. It can be found on My EBPs page. Once you request the transfer of an EBP, the owner of the EBP will be informed and can accept or reject the transfer of the EBP request. It is possible that they will miss the email about the transfer request and so we recommend prompting them to look for it if you are able. The email may also end up in junk/spam folders. An EBP will not be transferred until it has been approved.
To transfer an EBP means changing the ownership of an EBP. The records of a pupil move to a different organisation and they can be accessed by the members of the new organisation only.
To request the transfer of an EBP, carefully type the unique reference code of the child and press 'Request transfer'. The field is case sensitive. If you want to request the transfer of multiple records, please type the codes and separate them using commas.
The current owner of the EBP will then be invited to action the request via email and their dashboard. All such requests can be managed via ‘Manage EBP transfer requests’ (screenshot below).
To access the records of an EBP without owning the data, you can use the Request access option.
